What Makes @ Good Web Site? - Part III
Title:
Use your “Verbal Logo”. Don’t just tell what you do - describe what problems you solve.

The title typed within the code of the web site will show at the top of the browser. It’s a little something extra to pay attention to - where you can say more than just the title of the page. For example see the “title” in the blue banner at the top of this browser window:

Backgrounds: You can use color or textures but keep is simple so the text and images are easy to read. That doesn’t mean it has to be boring. Plain white can be very effective for the backdrop of a great web site. Black can work as well if the text is not overpowered. Plain grey seldom looks exciting and professionally designed.
Frames: Where the top or side of the screen stays fixed and the rest scrolls. Frames only take up space and hurt the ability of search engines to find your site.
This is just a sampling of all there is to think about when producing a web site. For more information on marketing and where your web page could take your business call Julie at Studiojules in Sugar Land at 713.504.9982 or email studiojules@alltel.net
